Every year Elk Creek Outfitting takes some of the biggest big game animals, and thats all thanks to the guides that we employee here. Big Sky Packer and Guide School is where we train our potential guides and they learn how to get their clients some of the trophy animals that Montana has to offer. Heron, Montana offers a unique terrain that requires fit, strong guides that utilize problem solving to get the job done. Big Sky Packer and Guide School will teach you how to set up a hunting camp, saddle and pack horses, and field dress an animal. You will also learn CPR, first aid, and basic survival tips all while conditioning you to become the best guide you can be.
